Viajando em Pensamentos

I used to be a surfer (or tried to be, I can’t say if I made it or not, but I have scars that prove I’ve tried) and one of the things I learned from that “surf vibes” experience is that the size of the wave when seen from the sand is completely different from the size of the wave when you are inside the sea, on a board. Many times I arrived at the beach to surf when I was still a beginner, seeing the waves from the sand I thought “The sea is small, calm waves, I’ll be able to get in the sea and surf without problems”, but when I stretched, I put the leash on, fell into the sea and started paddling, the deeper I went, I realized that the waves weren’t that small, from the perspective of the sea they became much bigger and this fascinated me.

Thinking about it, I realized how much this compares to the love of Jesus. Man, think with me, we always hear in many places and through many people the famous phrase “Jesus loves you”, this is not a lie and many people know it (after all, the guy IS Love). Hearing this and simply believing it is like seeing the waves from the perspective of the sand, but when we allow ourselves to truly know the Love He has for us it is as if we stretch out, put on the leash and enter the sea, and the deeper we go in the quest to know this love, our perspective changes and goes from a simple view of the sand to a view INSIDE the sea

facing the most insane Waves of Love that Jesus has for us. And when we realize this, we become even more in love and seek even more for these waves. No wonder that the cradle of the WORLD’S BIGGEST Waves is in NAZARÉ – Portugal
